Southwest Salad with Dressing
Making your salad dressing can be overwhelming. We have selected a Cilantro-Avocado Creamy Dressing and are serving it with our favorite Southwestern Salad. Cilantro-avocado creamy dressing requires only a few ingredients and is easy to assemble. This homemade salad dressing is healthier than salad dressing purchased from the supermarket already prepared. It adds protein and dairy to your diet because it is made with Greek yogurt. Moreover, it is low-sodium and free of artificial food dyes that are believed to contribute to hyperactivity in children. Store purchased salad dressing can be a hidden source of sodium, many of which contain 230 to 550 mg per serving. As a bonus, I love the smell and look of fresh vegetables. No need to worry about waste with this recipe, everyone loved it and I did not have left-overs.
