Easy fruit parfaits from ONIE

If you are feeling especially patriotic this 4th of July, we have a special, red, white, and blue treat for you. It is a no-brainer - just layer yogurt with red and blue fruit. We used strawberries and blueberries. Yum. 

Here is our easy to follow recipe. 

Star Spangled Banner Parfait                                                Servings: 4

Ingredients:ONIE Project: Star Spangled Fruit Parfait Nutrition Facts

  • 3 cups nonfat plain Greek
  • yogurt
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 cups granola
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 cup blueberries

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl mix 3 cups yogurt and 1/2 cup honey until combined.
  2. Divide yogurt and other ingredients evenly among 4 parfait cups: 1/2 cup yogurt,  1/4 cup strawberries, 1/4 cup granola                              
  3. Continue layering: 1/4 cup yogurt, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup granola
