The Center for Disease Control and Prevention just released findings that 90% of school-aged children are consuming 3,279 mg of sodium/salt every day. It is hard to believe that 9 out of 10 ten kids are consuming almost 70% more mg of sodium than calories and it is affecting their health (1,681 mg of sodium for every 1,000 calories consumed).
