Top 5 Ways to Eat Zucchini
Cook it up!
You can add a fresh zucchini to almost any meal for an extra burst of color, flavor, and nutrition. Stir fry? Spaghetti sauce? Sauteed inside of a taco? There are endless possibilities for cooking with zucchini. Be sure to try our favorite zucchini ONIE recipe as well!
Bake with it!

Eat it raw!
Yes zucchinis can even be eaten raw. Slice thinly to top any salad. Slice more thickly to dip into a hummus or ranch dressing or try taking it up a notch with one of our favorite raw zucchini recipes!
Try zucchini noodles!
Another great way to eat zucchinis is to slice them thinly (or to “spiralize” them) and use them in place of noodles in any of your favorite recipes. Here’s an example of how ONIE does it in lasagna!
Freeze it for later!
Grated zucchini freezes excellently. Simply shred it up and put it in a zip-close bag for whenever you decide to cook/bake with it next! Another great way to freeze it is to bake it into a bread, and freeze the entire loaf.
