Registration Details for Extra Workshops and Farm Tours
A separate registration is required for each event.
Grant Writing Workshop: This workshop will take place on Wednesday, February 27th from 1-4pm at the Conference Center and costs $25 to register. This workshop is most beneficial to those who have never written a grant or are in the process of writing their first one. It will provide application details for USDA, ODAFF and SARE grants as well as tips on how to use Grants.gov. FULL-REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
Produce Safety Alliance Grower Training Course: The course will take place on Wednesday, February 27 8:30am-5pm at Conference Center and costs $15 to register. This training will provide a foundation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) and co-management information, FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirements, and details on how to develop a farm food safety plan. Market Managers Forum: This will be directly after the conference on Thursday, February 28 at 4pm at the Conference Center. It will be free to attend, but limited to market mangers, e-mail Daniel Wilson to sign up email@example.com It will be a forum for market managers to share ideas, problem solve current issues related to management, and brainstorm ideas on what further resources would help support you and your market.
Agritourism Rolling Workshop: To register for the Agritourism Rolling Workshop on Friday, March 1st for $25 (free to OK Agritourism Association Members) email Meriruth Cohenour at Meriruth.Cohenour@ag.ok.gov. This tour is limited to the first 50 people, meeting on Friday morning at the Conference Center and touring a variety of Agritourism sites throughout the day, lunch included.
Innovative Growing Practices Tour: Registration for the Innovative Growing Practices Tour on Friday, March 1st. This tour is limited to the first 50 people, meeting on Friday morning at the Conference Center and touring 4 unique successful farms with a variety of growing styles (hoop house/high tunnel, low tunnel, green house, vertical growing, hydroponic, creative composting, organic, and much more). This tour will be 9am – 5pm, lunch/snacks will be included.
