1 (15 oz) can no-salt-added tomato sauce
1 (6 oz) can no-salt-added tomato paste
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
3 Tbsp honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp chipotle pepper powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
12 whole-wheat dinner rolls
1 (16 oz) bag tri-color coleslaw mix
In a large slow cooker add, tomato sauce, tomato paste, worcestershire sauce, vinegar, honey, garlic, chipotle pepper & black pepper. Stir until combined. Add chicken breasts & cover with sauce. Cover & cook on low 6-7 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
Using two forks, finely shred chicken.
Serve rolls filled with chicken, coleslaw mix & extra sauce.
TipsIncrease temperature to high to reduce cook time to 2-3 hours.
