Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

An easy to make dessert recipe loaded with flavor that is sure to be a hit with friends and family.


  • 2 Tbsp canola oil

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar 

  • 2 medium ripe bananas, mashed 

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour 

  • 1 cup quick oats 

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • Non-stick cooking spray


  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

  2. In a large bowl, add oil, egg, brown sugar, bananas & vanilla. Whisk together. In a separate bowl, add flour, oats, baking powder, salt & baking soda. Mix well. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients & mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.

  3. Lightly coat two baking sheets with cooking spray. Use a tablespoon to drop dough on baking sheets.

  4. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.


Try adding chopped walnuts.
